English Summary
The new statement from former minister Veena George's gunman, Abhilash, has put her in a tight spot in the alleged KSU attack case. Abhilash revealed to the investigation team that his earlier statement to the Railway Police, claiming KSU workers attempted to attack her with weapons, was made strictly under Veena George's instruction. He has now admitted that he did not witness any such attack by KSU workers. Consequently, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) will submit a report to the DGP recommending strict action against the gunman for providing a false statement.
