ചെന്നൈ: തേനിയിൽ ജയിൽ ജീവനക്കാരനെ ആക്രമിച്ച ശേഷം 17 വിചാരണ തടവുകാർ കൂട്ടത്തോടെ രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. ആണ്ടിപ്പെട്ടിക്ക് സമീപം തെക്കംപാട്ടയിലുള്ള ജില്ലാ ജയിലിൽ നിന്നാണ് ക്രിമിനൽ കേസ് പ്രതികൾ രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടത്. ഡ്യൂട്ടിക്കുണ്ടായിരുന്ന പൊലീസുകാരനെ ആക്രമിച്ച ശേഷമാണ് സംഘം ജയിൽ ചാടിയത്.
പ്രതികൾ പാലക്കാട്, ഇടുക്കി അതിർത്തികൾ വഴി കേരളത്തിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിക്കാൻ സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്നാണ് വിലയിരുത്തൽ. ഇവരെ പിടികൂടുന്നതിനായി തമിഴ്നാട് പൊലീസ് അതിർത്തി കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് തിരച്ചിൽ ശക്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കേരള പൊലീസിനും അതിർത്തികളിൽ ജാഗ്രതാ നിർദ്ദേശം നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
